Recently I’ve been modeling for photography shoots – and enjoying every second of it. I’ve always liked modeling but given my petite stature and all (plus I used to be a little chubby, I THINK :P) I’ve never really considered any forms of modeling until recently. But anyway, I’m so glad I did! Everything deserves a tryin’ to know if it’s really your cup of tea. For myself as a newbie, I think I did a decent job because I’ve been signed up for group shoots! But yeah, I do have lots to learn, what’s more it’s my joy and passion to get engaged in them!

I’m hoping to join this contest together with my current photographer – it’ll be so so cool and if that happens, I’ve already chosen a dress to wear!

I super <3 this dress and hope that I can wear it for the Ion contest shoot! Look how gorgeous the colours are and the intricate designs of this unique number, screaming “PERSONALITY”!!!

Anyway, I’ve been trying to lose weight for modeling assignments because in any forms of modeling, there’s really no space for extra fat ANYWHERE because you’re shot in all angles right? Slim contours always wins the game unless the theme is “Meat Loaf”. HAHAHA!

I think it’s working a little because I feel lighter and more toned – so let me share my diet and exercise routine!

DIET

• made a conscious effort to cut down on carbohydrates
• smaller meal proportions
• more frequent meals
• oats replacing rice/noodles and other high sugar or fat content meals
• more fruits and juices
• I can’t remember the last time I had chocolate or ice cream or candy
• more salmon sashimi?
• earlier meals, especially dinner
• plan your meals so that you don’t overeat

EXERICSE

• brisk walking for at least 1/2 hr a session, twice or thrice a week
• lifting light weights at home
• dance practice at home
• photography modeling sessions – posing, practicing
• I tried jogging but it doesnt work so well if you want a slimming of your silhouette because it only makes your legs more muscular! Anyway, I dislike jogging because it’s too monotonous and boring!

Burlesque. Louboutin.

I’m gonna come.

 

That’s how I felt watching Burlesque in the theatre last week. I love every freaking second of that movie, Christina Arguilera’s performance, powerful vocals, spine-thrilling dance routines, gorgeous cast, that hot, sexy lad Jack and mind-boggling wardrobe. Costume designer Michael Kaplan used looks from Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, Rick Owens, Bebe and Guess. Have I mentioned that Christian Louboutin heels that Arguilera wore nearly made tremble in my seat?

It was such a pleasant surprise my eyeballs were still safely in their sockets after the film ended because I remember that I couldn’t stop staring – open-mouthed, for that matter, at the screen. The costumes were spectacular, plot was predictable but completely enjoyable and had a perfect score for entertainment value.

I could totally understand Ali’s passion, excitement and love for performing as I am a dancer myself, love posing (I’m not shy to admit), adores attention and I feel the music and spirit in my veins, blood, whatever.

Can you believe it I nearly teared when Ali strutted her stuff for the first time – when Tess announced for the curtains to be raised when Nikki pulled that wicked deed on her. And Ali Rose got that big break.

I can’t forget Kristen Bell too, who’s another beautiful lead that nearly “turned lesbian” filming Burlesque. Why am I not surprised?

She’s not the newest model or celebrity around but every time I chance upon her pictures on the net I can’t stop scrolling through more and more pictures of her perfect face and beautiful body. To me she isn’t just another pretty face but a face I can’t forget that’s why I’m dedicating a post to her right now! Call it luck, destiny or pure plastic surgery, she has succeeded in capturing my heart and seducing me to inject her into my “Book of Beauties”. OK, so what’s the secret to that perfect face? The fact that it looks so PROPORTIONATE. Small face (doesn’t ever go wrong), huge doe eyes, SHARP NOSE, cherry lips. Highlight’s always the eyes that capture souls.

Yeah, I mean, there must have been a lot of help she got from makeup, surgery and lots and lots of luck to become who she is today – Angelababy’s career began when she was spotted by Style International Inc. at the age of 17 and entered the modeling industry that year (2007). She then featured as a dancer in Jay Chou’s 《07-08世界巡迴演唱會香港站》concert in Hong Kong.

Since her shot to fame after a photo shoot with Janice Man, her original asking price of HK$1,000 has risen as quickly as her popularity. She now charges $30,000 to appear at shopping mall events.

But did she look like this before her surgeries?

Does it really matter? Seriously I’m considering it myself – botox? rhinoplasty? enlarge my eyes? If it makes me happier. Maybe!

And the A-list ladies wore…. pink. The dress code for the 2011 Golden Globes was fashion’s most feminine hue – from hot candy to palest blush beige…. a pleasant return to romance on the red carpet.

Falling Diamonds.

I think I’m being completely random again, but it’s just all of a sudden images of falling diamonds appeared in my head. Is it a sign?

Wealth? Romance? A need for something sparkly, shiny and wonderful in my life? -laughs-

Anyway, the occasional fantasy aside, I’ve been really busy going for business meetings everyday, building F&E and a potential other one, and I must say really exciting plans are coming up! If you haven’t followed Ferosha & Eclat on Facebook and Twitter, you’re really missing out! Hahaha!

Anyway, I’ll be doing a tie-up with Zepherra within the next 2 weeks and we’re coming up with really awesome events and activities so ‘LIKE’ my FB page above now!

Well reserve your judgment a little but I’ve been clubbing more these days. Just a little more. I enjoy the booze, music, company (most important) and of course, dancing. Was at Zouk on Xmas eve and Attica on New Year’s Eve, and yeah! Having a great time with awesome company for these countdown sessions. Somehow, it gets very de-stressing spending good time at clubs for me.
